The Urbanfarmer CSA is located within the city of Sheboygan, WI. We deliver shares of fresh, certified naturally grown produce weekly, June through October. A wide variety of produce is grown, harvested, washed, packed and delivered within 24 hours and travels less than 3 miles to our pick up site at Goodside Grocery Co-op, located at 8th and St. Clair.
Community supported agriculture connects the consumer directly to their farmer. This direct approach offers the consumer a real connection with their food that is environmentally friendly, economical and sustainable. It also provides us with a stable market which is crucial to our success.
We grow using organic and sustainable inputs and methods including open-pollinated, non-GMO seed, no chemical fertilizers, pesticides or herbicides, crop rotation and use of row cover, composting, biodegradable pots and packaging, harvesting rainwater and solar energy.
